Bubble Blaster 3000

Today I installed the Bubble Blaster 3000 on my Vertex IN-180. The connection plumbing needed 1" I.D. PVC plumbing and a few minor adjustments but other than that it was an easy modification. This pump easily outperforms the stock Resun pump. I will post photos tomorrow.

  1. Hey, I was wondering if you have any pictures. I am going to be making this same upgrade.

  2. I don't, it was very simple, all you need is a piece of 1" PVC plumbing. The side that fits into the skimmer needed a little trimming to fit so I used a dremel with the sanding attachment to sand down the PVC for a tight fit.

  3. I plugged mine in, and the bubbles are overflowing with the setting wide open. Did you have any problem like this? I'm afraid to leave it run as I have to have the water drain unplugged for it to not overflow.

  4. Nope, mine never overflows when the pipe is all the way open.
